PRESENTATION

For the online procedure (degree application submission), graduating students are kindly requested to carefully follow the instructions available on ESSE3 in the Online Degree Application Guide.

The online procedure will be available on the ESSE3 system from the 40th calendar day until the 7th working day before the start of the graduation session.

WHAT TO DO

The PDF files that graduating students must upload during the procedure are:

1. A valid ID document;

2. The signed thesis title page;

3. The final version of the thesis manuscript;

4. The report generated by the plagiarism detection software.

After uploading both the plagiarism report and the thesis file, the Academic Supervisor will review the thesis and either approve or reject it. In case of rejection, the student may repeat the procedure in accordance with the revisions agreed upon with the Supervisor.

Administrative checks will then be carried out by the relevant Student Office, followed by the student’s online approval of the graduation record.

Graduating students may view the graduation record and formally accept its contents by completing a few simple steps directly from their ESSE3 student profile no later than the closing date of the online procedure.

Upon acceptance, the Student Office will confirm the degree application. After confirmation, it will no longer be possible to modify or supplement the data contained in the graduation record.

IN CASE OF PROBLEMS

In the event of discrepancies and/or inconsistencies in the graduation record, or for information regarding the online procedure, students must immediately send an email (including full name, student ID number, degree programme, and a description of the issue) to:

laureaonline@unime.it

For issues or information regarding the registration of academic credits, please open a ticket with the Student Office.

IMPORTANT

Graduating students are required to initiate the degree application procedure within the first 20 days of the opening period, in order to allow the Academic Office to organize the graduation sessions and publish the schedule on the Department website.
