The Cospecs Department has its multidisciplinary roots in the noble Facoltà di Magistero of the University of Messina, and it is not a coincidence that it has also inherited its historic headquarters in Via Concezione, 6. Today, Cospecs also makes use of the bright rooms of the three-storey complex in Via Bivona Bernardi, near the Botanical Gardens, and the very modern rooms of the nearby Aularium, not to mention the magnificent Palazzo Giavanti in Noto. Care and rigour in teaching, the Department's genetic heritage, are combined here with innovative planning in a virtual environment, with cutting-edge research in the neuroscientific, socio-anthropological, psychological-clinical and tourism fields, and with the happy creativity of performing arts.
