In order to obtain the degree, students must submit the application for the assignment of the final thesis, in PDF format and signed by the Academic Supervisor, to the Department’s Executive Office so that it may be countersigned by the Head of Department (Director or Deputy Director).
For Bachelor’s Degree programmes, the form must be submitted at least 90 days before the start date of the relevant graduation session.
For Master’s Degree and Single-Cycle Master’s Degree programmes, the form must be submitted at least 180 days before the start date of the relevant graduation session.
The form, available on the Department website under the “Forms” section, must be duly completed and sent in PDF format to: direzione.cospecs@unime.it
When submitting the application, the student must indicate the Academic Supervisor — selected from among the teaching staff of the University of Messina — who will supervise the preparation of the final thesis, as well as the assigned thesis topic.
Visiting lecturers and contract lecturers teaching during the relevant academic year may also act as Academic Supervisors.
